When did this problem start?

Have you changed any other programs on your computer or downloaded any updates?

Hi Ian
the problem started in april with my old account then when i came back on to the game last month it continues i have tryed installing all three versions from xp to win7 all with the same fault but as i said it is far worse in main 3 so bad that i now refuse to play the game when this lobby is used which is not what
payed for.
i left the game because i was fed up with paying for something that was full of bugs and had lost its enjoyment sice the updates after v1.83 and was told by a friend that things had been sorted but i guess not in fact seem worse.
consumer law 1989 states that when and item is paid for it has to be fit for purpose which this game is not and needs something done about it. :D

I've not received any reports of other players having this problem of continual disconnection.

I can't see that the lobby you play in would make any difference as all iSnooker lobbies are hosted on the same server so whether you are in lobby 1 or lobby 3 would not make any difference.

Have you updated DirectX ?

Can I assume that your computer has the necessary graphics drivers and that you don't lose connection when accessing other sites on the internet ?

Hi Ian

Yes direct X is upto date as is all my other drivers and my graphics is more than good enough i play on other internet based games with no problems . As for internet dropout the no i run 32meg with 2meg upload through lan not wireless and it never drops out.
Just because the two lobbys run from the same server dose not come ito it , I run 2 websites with the same server and sometimes AGV throws up a warning from one even though the scripting is the same for both.

Martin

ps and Java is upto date

Regardless of using lan your dropping connection so here is what I suggest, if you have more than one lan input, change it to another, mine for some reason use to drop out on one and two, but never on three and four.
Also, you could try checking your lan properties in connection settings to see if the connection is dropping, a lot of online games handle disconnection well and most of the time you will never know it dropped, but isnooker does not handle them well and a slight drop will kick ya out.
snooker loopy nuts is this game
