Trickshots are the amusing side of the game that takes us away from the usual gameplay and lets us use our imagination to come up with some stunning and complicated looking shots that we wouldn't normally be able to utilize during a normal frame of iSnooker.

Power Tips by Yo

It is important that when you first try a trickshot to see how it goes, you decide then what power and spin you are going to use. The power is very important, you must try the shot every time with the exact same power. Although there are no error margins the power of the shot effects the angle of deflection form any ball it hits or even the
rail. If you set up the first few balls and try the shot with say 50% power, and it works, and you then place the
remaining balls and you try the shot with 70%, because 50% is not enough, you will find that the effect will be different, and you need to go back to the initial set balls and modify them to go the way you want upon hitting them with 70% power.

Regarding the spin to use, it is important that you only use central spin, extreme side spin, extreme bottom spin
or extreme top spin, or extreme bottom side spin, side top and so on. Basically you should only use central or any extreme spin, nothing in between, like just above the center, or just a bit of side spin, because it is hard to
remember these spots and hit them again on future attempts. Any shot can be done with these types of spin, if
you feel that the shot requires spin somewhere in between centre and extremity of the cue ball do not do that, but
modify the place you are aiming at.

Many of the shots should work with central spin. To try and find the exact centre of the cue ball as close as possible, set up for the shot, select the power you use, and you will see that the spin is already set up in the exact centre of the cue ball. Just make a mental note of where that spot is and try to click in that exact same spot when you play the shot.

Practice Tips by Yo

If you have done a trick shot and it has worked, you probably have had multiple tries until it has worked so you
can not save it then, as it will save all your failed attempts as well. To save individual trick shots this is what you
must do: First off after you have set up the balls, keep trying until it works, when it does work remember the power, spin and place you aim for. You should have the practice file saved by now if you don't, click undo and save the file. Click practice load and load the file. Set up for the shot the same way you just took it and worked, click print screen take the shot. It will probably not work so try again in this way: press start, set up the shot, print screen, take the shot. If it doesn't work try again the same way press start, set up the shot, print screen, take the shot. This is something you should get used to and do fast, and after a few attempts the shot will work like it first did. When it does work click file, save frame, and you have now saved the individual shot, you also have the practice file, and you also have your screenshot.

Do not worry of it takes many tries for it to work. You should be able to make any shot in 5 minutes after you
have come up with a spin-power-setup that worked. In those 5 minutes you should be able to try the shot 30
times. The shot only really needs to work 2 times: first time when you are trying different aiming, power spin and setups, and the second time when you have found the good combination and you need to save the shot.
